What’s happening to the housing supply in Treasure Valley?
According to landproDATA, supply of new residential lots has increased while builders are incentivizing sales of current homes, holding off on pulling new permits and keeping excess inventory under control. landproDATA shows that there are 9527 vacant lots (lots in recorded subdivisions without a building permit issued) in inventory, up significantly from last 2 years. But, newly issued building permits are down, near pandemic numbers and there are 1580 residential lots being built or on the market today.
